In a mosque the qibla is indicated by a niche (miḥrab) in one of the walls.
When there is a scarcity of water each person should, with face Qibla-wards, offer up prayer to God.
When a person is about to die, the attendants should place him on his right side with his face Qibla-wards.
If he cannot turn towards the Qibla, he is, under the circumstances, allowed to face any direction most convenient.
