ironwork

The planking had been sawed, the timber cut with the hatchet, the ironwork with a file, the sheathing with the chisel.

The buildings were defaced, the windows broken, the stoves and ovens wrecked, and all the ironwork carried off.

This screen was constructed by Mr. Hawker from the rescued remnants of an older screen, pieced together with ironwork.

Very interesting it was, the preservation of the wood and also the ironwork being wonderful.

Far above gray stone and red ironwork was the deep blue of the summer sky.
