For all bavarois the forms may be lined first with jelly and decorated with fruits, nuts, currants, etc.

Make a vanilla bavarois, place on platter, and pour some red Bar le Duc around the base.

Turn out on platter, and serve with whipped cream or raspberry syrup, separate or around the bavarois.
